Our Work Ethic.
Rigor and Excellence in STEM
We uphold the highest standards in scientific research and education. All programs prioritize equity-enabling, reproducible, and open research practices, along with evidence-based and experiential learning methods.
Co-Creation and Design Thinking
We actively involve stakeholders and community members in the design and decision-making of our initiatives. By centering lived experience, we build trust and ensure our work reflects real-world needs and insights.
Sustainability Through Strengthened Communities
We believe that lasting impact comes from building people, not just knowledge. Our efforts focus on expanding participation in STEM and ensuring that those we reach can, in turn, empower others—especially those often left out of traditional data or decision-making.
Good Stewardship: We are committed
…To recognizing the significance of RASIT and to upholding and enhancing its legacy. We achieve this by positioning blind, visually impaired, and other people with disabilities as essential contributors to science and society, while honoring the contributions of past, present, and future scholars.
